College is a new experience for everyone. When you first step foot on campus you are starting an adventure like no other, but so are your parents, your siblings, your close friends, and familiar faces from back home. You are opening the door to a world of change. The people who have been there for you your whole life are also opening that same door of change, but it leads to a world in which you are no longer just a hollar away.
Student Life
Student activities are one of my absolute favorite things about being a student at ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox. There is something fun to participate in almost every single week. I remember being a freshman, having not gone to any activities yet, and being so nervous about what I should wear, or if I had packed enough things for these events. So, what should you bring to be prepared for student activities?
Life After Fox
ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox elementary education majors create an interactive math event for the students and families of Nellie Muir Elementary School.
Undergraduate
The Academic Resource Center (ARC), located in the Murdock Library, is a valuable tool for every member of the campus community, regardless of their level of study.
Student Life
Last year, I held a lot of apprehension about becoming an RA for the 2022-23 academic year. All summer long, anxiety ate at my stomach. Would I make a good RA? Would I get along well with the rest of my RA staff? Did the hiring team make a mistake? Was this really where I was supposed to be? You get the picture – my fears knew no limits. But all of that faded away once I met my RA team and my residents.

At college, you’ll find yourself in a new routine of life. You’re in a new place, surrounded by new faces and new opportunities. When I first got to college, I was nervous, excited and eager to start experiencing the world at this new stage in life. I was ready to take every opportunity I was given to really make the most of my college experience.
