Lorretta Krautscheid, PhD, MS, RN, CNE
Professor of Nursing
Lorretta Krautscheid joined ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox in 2019. She has extensive expertise in nursing education, curriculum development, and educational leadership. With a PhD in Nursing and national certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE), she is dedicated to advancing evidence-based nursing education methods and mentoring the next generation of Christ-centered healthcare professionals.
Dr. Krautscheid's contributions to the profession include research and publications about student moral distress, fostering resilience and moral courage. She has also researched strategies to enhance ethical decision-making, communication, and clinical judgment among student nurses. Most recently, her research focuses on technology-enhanced and theory-guided education methods to support transformational learning, student engagement, and inclusive classrooms. She is passionate about empowering students to flourish, highlighting the importance of spiritual well-being.
